Suggestion for v8:
When you submit a form (login, forum post, etc) the button becomes disabled.
This is great on a dedicated connection, but when you are using a crappy connection (like i have ) the page doesnt always load the first time. So i have to click stop, refresh the page, and refill in the content. And on a sh*tty connection this really sucks and takes a very long time.
Maybe coding the "reset" button or something to re-enabled the button would be great, or removing it would be even better. I would just like to see this fixed for people with poor connections.

The disabling of the button i so that the form is not submitted twice and has been used in version 7 for a long time (just didn't work in Firefox) without any complaints so far.
The form should still be submitted even on a slow connection the first time it is clicked.

Bruce,
Turst me my connection does not aways go the first time!
I am stuck using a Verizon Wireless card at my place because i can not get cable or dsl, and i dont want to tie up the phone line with 56k.
The disabled submit button is a pain the arse because 50% of the time i have to stop the page from loading (after waiting a few minutes) and refresh the page so i can post the page again.

Ok, I'll look into it.
The only difference in version 8 is that it is now enabled in Firefox, it has been enabled in IE for years without any issues.

I dont use IE so thats probably why ive never said anything.
But now its enabled for FireFox it has been a pain for using the search page and posting. Half the time i have to stop the page and refresh so i can try posting again.

I'm finding there is an issue in Firefox.
It seems that when submitting a post about 10% of the time the progress bar is coursing Firefox to hang.
The post is still posted and refreshing the page usually shows the post, but it is annoying.
I'm going to do remove and alter a few things and do more tests on this site to see if any changes resolve the issue.
