Bruce, very nice job!!

I don't have time to upgrade for the next month or so. However, I did browse the list of new features and enhancements made in v8. I did not see in that the admins can lookup usernames from email addresses or vice versa. I remember this topic was brought up in the suggestion list a while back. Was this feature included?

It sure would be nice to be able to lookup someone's username when they email me and tell me they forgot it (if they don't know their username they cant retrieve their password).

Version 8 beta 1 is just a first beta to test the new forum engine actually works and iron out any bugs in it.

While beta testing is being carried out new features will be added for the final version sometime later this year.

Beta software is as the name suggests pre-release software for testing purposes only and should therefore not be used on production web sites as the software is not complete or stable.
