Hi again

We are trying to have our Web WEiz within our Intranet and also over the Internet.  The trouble is we can only view it within the Intranet but are unable to view over the Internet.

We get this error when we try over the Internet

Attachment Blocked

You do not have the permissions required to open or http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/showentry.php?courseid=5&concept=download - download e-mail attachments from this computer. Contact your http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/showentry.php?courseid=5&concept=server - server administrator for details about your user permissions.

We are also having much of the same problem with Moodle, can view internally but externally.

Please Help? many regards, Ali.

This looks like a permissions problem with your server.

cheers for the reply

Our IT manager has looked at the permissions and everything is OK within there.

We used the guide from: http://www.webwiz.net/asp/faq/server_permissions.asp - http://www.webwiz.net/asp/faq/server_permissions.asp

Could it be our email configuration setup which is:

Email Component to use: CDOSYS

Outgoing SMTP Mail Server (NOT needed for CDONTS): localhost

This is a very strange error and is not a standard IIS or windows OS error.

Looking at the links it has given for 'download' and 'server' it looks like Moodle (whatever that is) is coursing this error message to appear.

I would contact Moodle support and ask them about this.

Moodle is actually within a seperate area from the forum.  The forum is a link from another site, which works accordingly.

Im thinking it could be a server, router or even firewall setup issue within our College.  we have looked within Moodle http://moodle.org - http://moodle.org (virtual learning environment software) but still cannot find the problem.

If the error message you posted is when you try and connect to the forum, why are the links in the error message to the Moodle site?

This seems to suggest either you have posted the wrong error message, or Moodle is effecting more than just the area of the site it is within.
