The reply box on my forum won't load.  Everything else does, but not that.

It is only happening to me!  Others can post fine on my forum.  But I can't.

I used to be able to, and have for a couple of years now.  But now suddenly I cn't.

I still have full admin rights, and can post to the calendar mod that I installed.  But I can't post to the forum or send private messages, the type in box does not load.  The page just sits there with the hourglass.

Any ideas anyone?

Your first problem could be due to software that you are running on your own PC blcoking the javascript from running.

AV, ad blocking, script blocking, firewall, etc. sofware can all come with options that when enabled will couser this type of problem.

If you can not fix it you can disable the WYSIWYG editor from your forum profile and just use a standard textbox.

As to your users problem, it sounds like a cookie issue, make sure your users clears their cookie cache and sets their browser to allow all cookies for your site.

That worked Borg! Thank you so much!  I can now post on my own site now.  Weird that it doesn't block me from posting on your site though?

She says she did that.  But I will talk to her again and walk her through I guess by phone.

Thanks so much for the help.

Now I need to track down the offending program that is not allowing me to post with the WYSISWYG editor.  Boy was that frustrating!  Thanks again!

If your users is using IE, then the cookie cache in IE maybe corrupted, in which case you need to first delete all cached Internet files, then delete all cookies. This will reset IE's cookie index.

Better still get them to use a better browser like Firefox.
