Having searched through this forum (eg., http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=17521&KW=moderator+suspend+member - 1, http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=15916&KW=moderator+suspend+member - 2, http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=12356&KW=moderator+suspend+member - 3 ) it appears that moderators should be able to access other members' profiles and change user groups, active/not active status, etc. However, the Mods on my site cannot do this.

When clicking on a member's profile they do not see the 'Edit this members forum settings' button that an admin does.

I would like Mods to be able to change the level/rank of a user so that they can ban/suspend them when I am not around (I have a banned member rank).

Modertors can do so, as long as they click from a forum they are a mod in

I have been playing with the settings today and my test mod.

It appears it only allows a mod to edit the member's settings when their group is assigned as a forum moderator (to any forum) - not just them.
