is there a way to convert my 7.9 webwiz mssql db tables to 8 beta?

As far as I know, only manually.

Once the final version 8 has been released, I've heard there should be a conversion tool available - but don't quote me on that.

There isn't a convertion tool at present as the beta version is NOT to be used on production servers.

Once the full stable version is released and conversion toll will be released.

awsome, yeah i just wanted to load some of my prod data into my test site.
