I have an urgent question, please.
I have a table called status with prepopulated data.
Table:
statusID    StatusName
1            Not Started
2            Started
3            In Progress
4            On Hold
5            Completed

I also have a task table with prepopulated data also.
There are 8  tasks in all.

I have coded my asp so that when someone is working on a task, he/she can indicate at what stage the task is on by selecting one of the above status stages namely 'Not Started', 'Started', 'In Progress', 'On Hold', 'Completed', depending on the stage of the task that the user is working on.

The problem I am running into right now is if more than one tasks are being worked on concurrently, if a user updates his/her record to indicate that the status of his/her task is,say 'In Progress', that option, 'In Progress', is no longer available to be selected by someone else doing another task.
Is there any way to allow more than one tasks to select the same status stage concurrently?
Thanks for your response.
