I have a problem with a table setup.
It works fine in Firefox, but IE doesn't seem to get the td height.

I'm not good at explaining, so I'll post a link to the page here.
If someone can tell me why IE is acting like this, I would be pleased.
Could it be because I have it named .php?
IE doesn't show my favicon either...
Any help is appreciated. Here's the link:

As you can see in the view source option. I have set the td height to 30.
IE however mess it up.

To tell the truth, IE is showing your page "properly". Firefox isn't, and there is a good reson ywhy.

You got too many errors on your page.

First being the doubled <head>, <DOCTYPE> and <body> tags.

And you favicon link tag needs a type attribute.

There is more, but they can't be fixed without fixing those first.

Thanks for reminding me. I had forgot to remove the tags from the  included file. Furthermore, what type to set on the favicon link? It didn't say anything about type at favicon.com.

I think for ie to show a favorite.ico, you have to remove any existing bookmarks to the site, clear your cache, and restart the browser before bookmarking the site again.

IE is buggy about height attributes anyway.
Noted that your doctype is html 4.01 transitional - aka "quirks" mode.

That transitional spec has been around since 1997-98 as a stop-gap to support older sites. About time to transition to the html 4.01 strict spec which is supposed to be used for new sites created since 1998. Using it with css will give you better control over positioning.

Thanks peeps. I think it's time for me to begin learning css for real.
I have only used it for fontstyles so far, but it seems it is the nr1 thing to catch up with when it comes to pagedesign.
Thanks again. :D
