Exactly... Their support sucks...and when you give them a call you get someone from the philippine who's voice is so low and that's after 20 minutes of waiting... At the end of the call they'll tell you Ok sir I will escalate this issue to a higher level and they will get back to you by email.

The only reason why they are good for mail and domains is because I don't need support for them LOL

Their adverts also lie. They say full ASP.NET support but they purposely disallow access database access because they say it is a security risk (yet they allow it on ASP) just to make you upgrade to a more expensive plan that has MSSQL server, which is unessecary for a home site.

I WOULD suggest 1&1 for your domain, as they are the cheapest around - however, I have had nothing but trouble with them.

I used to be hosted by 1&1 (winner of oh so many awards - yeah right), but the support was terrible, the hosting was terrible, and I would NEVER go back to them for hosting!

I still have all my domains with them, which are run fine, except when I wanted to cancel a domain - I chose the option for it to cancel when the billing period had expired...however, they cancelled it AND charged me for another 2 years!  Approx. 10 emails later, they gave in and refunded me the 2 years for a domain I no longer own!  Mad!

So, yeah, 1&1.co.uk if you're not thinking of being hosted with them, or cancelling domains.

That can't be true... especially with a host like 1 and 1. If I happen to see someone asking for an advice and I know the best deal then why not share? 1and1 is crap except for their competitive domain name prices.
Big smile

Well, sharing a url is helpful. Having your affiliate ID in the url is spam unless you note that it's an affiliate url in your message.
