I'm considering an ASP message board and looking at WebWiz vs. Snitz. I know Snitz makes a lot of calls to the datbase and the RAM is fairly high for moderate usage.
So, how is the performance of WebWizForum? What is your RAM usage (with visitorship)?
I'm already running a Snitz forum on my server so I have to be very careful about what else I put on my server.
Thanks!

To cut down on database calls web wiz forums does use application variables, with in the next version 8 cutting down db calls to under 3 on most pages.
To know the amount of RAM used depends very much on your server setup and the type of database used.
If you use the forum in it's own application pool then you will use more memory as all the drivers, objects, db pools, etc. will need loading into a separate memory location. However, if you are running in the same app pool as the Snitz forum the amount of extra RAM usage will probably not be noticeable, if at all, as they would be using the same drivers, etc.
