Hi,

In CSS does anyone know how to valign images and text into the middle?  If they are in the same table cell the images always appear raised above the text slightly, I dont want to put them in seperate cells (which seems to align them properly).

Any ideas?

Thanks!

i think if you put align="absmiddle" in the img tag it'll do what you want

its always worked for me Confused

i think the images always appear raised slightly above the text because most fonts have blank spaces above them, so the tops of your l's and h's (and d's and b's and capitals) will start a few pixels below the top of the image... if none of that made sense then i am oviously misinterpreting what you asked...

anyhoo, i think you can fix this with a bit of trial and error by using positioning relative and droppin the image a few pixels lower...

also helps to set the image padding and margins - top and bottom, to 0.
