I was using version 7.91, and two days ago my database was corrupted. all topic and post are now in one category, and few category were deleted, and I dont know what happend. now I decide to start again from begining and have two questions. 1. If I start using version 7,97 will I be able to transfer all post and users to full version 8? or 2. will I be able to transfer all post and users from version 8 beta 2 to full version 8? what do you suggets I should do now. |

An upgrade tool from 7.x to version 8 will be avialble. There won't be an upgrade tool between beta versions which should not be used on production servers. Access is a rather naff flat desktop file and only good for very small forums, so if you can try to use a proper Database management System like SQL Server, or mySQL in version 8. |

Ok. Just to make sure, if I start using mySQL version 7,97 of WWF, I'll be able to convert it to mySQL version 8 when it's released, without lossing any posts and users? tnx for reply.  |

mySQL is only support on version 8 version 7.x supports SQL Server, which is the one to use with that version for larger forums. |
