I am using version 7.9 with the Rich Text Editor  enabled. Why does it enter a black line when you hot enter instead of just doing carriage return? Is there a way i can fix that? Thanks!

This happens in IE because the RTE uses the RTE API built into the web browser.

For some, annoying reason, Microsoft decided with their RTE API that carridge returns would course double line spacing.

You can over come this by using javascript to lisen for the Enter key being pressed and then intercepting the default function by forcing a <div> instead, but is is very complex to do.

Version 8 will have this, so probably best waiting for version 8 to be released within the next few months.
