Dear bOrg I have problem with locking and un-locking forum, after I locked the Access database downloaded it and upgraded to 8.0 version, after that I cannot un-lock the forum, the forums_closed field in Congiguration table remains unchecked and forum is closed.

Please help

I've just releiase the new login system won't allow you to login at all to unlock it.

For the moment the only option is to unlock it directly in the database, then reset the servers app pool to get it going.

Although the upgrade tool asks you to delete the common.asp file to prevent access and not just lock the forum so you are lucky the upgrade process didn't crash.

I've not had time to test this yet, but a quick fix for this issue is to place the following in the top of the admin.asp file:-

blnClosedForumPage = True

Place before the file common.asp is included.
