How do you go from a generated and processed asp file back to its original unprocessed code?

i'm asking how to take a generated output like 'hello' and turn it back into asp code like 'Response.Write ("hello")'

There are more then one way to generate the html you see, so how is the text supposed to know where it is coming from? It does not even know if it was generated by asp, php or whatever.
