Hi Borg! :)

I was just viewing the RC1 topic and there seems to be something wrong with one of the user avatars.

Look here: http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=18814&FID=18&PR=3 - http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=18814&FID=18&PR=3  at the user Mikey. His picture is waaaay long. :)

Thanks, I have removed the persons avatar.

Most browsers now support the CSS property max-width which prevents avatars from displaying to large, but some versions of IE are yet to implement this.

Shouldn't you be coding with respect to the current IE?

If I did we would be going back to the stone age as IE6 is the worst browser on the planet and really sucks.

IE7 is meant to be sorting out allot of the issues and being more standards compliant, which means that when IE7 hits the scene many sites coded for IE6 will break.

It is much better to code for standards compliant browsers as there are more of them to which IE is loosing allot of ground to everyday.

I know very few people now who use IE and those that do use it usually do because they don't realise that there are other web browsers that exist.

The only issue that web wiz forums have with IE6 is if users use their own avatars that are to large, which the forum admin should remove anyway as not only do they course formatting issues in IE but as slow down the page loading times.
