Some of my forum members are unable to post new topics, this seems to be down to the security settings with their browsers (all IE users).
Setting the security level to low fixes this but this is obviously not a very clever workaround. Can you advise which explicit settings are causing this to fail? They receive:
 Another issue I have is that I can't seem to post a new 'Sticky', I can post a message and edit it to change to a sticky but unless its a standard post it just goes into the ether.
Not complaining though, this is a MAJOR upgrade and all of my forum members are delighted. |

As the error message suggests 'you may need to disable script blocking software on your PC' This is becuase the script blocker in Norton and/or MacAffee that blocks the the javascript used in the RTE from running. The solution is either get your users to disable the script blocking software, or disable the RTE by editing their forum profile. As to your other point, You need to enable 'Sticky' Topics for the admin by setting forum permissions in the admin area. |

| Thanks, I have asked my members to try the RTE option. On the sticky topic issue, the forum has the correct permissions. I am able to post a new topic then edit it and make it a sticky, just not from the outset. I am happy to provide an admin account by PM if you wish to see for yourself? |
