My admin fourm is locked - only admin can post edit etc. But we have a couple of users who get round this by clicking on the quote button, they then delete the quoted text and replace it with their own. This gives a psuedo reply to the thread.

Is there any way I can removed the quote facility from my admin forum only?

There was a bug in older versions that did this.

Upgrade to the latest version to prevent this.
