Hey all...

Nearing completion on this yahoo egroups to web wiz import... emails sorted and stuff, but the last job is to import the user accounts (hopefully)

Is there documentation around for the schemas? If i import into the table I'm not going to have a couple of fields that I dont know the format, specifically user_code and salt. These obviously look unique, but anyone have a suggestion how i could mimic the data in SQL Server, or hell, the datas in a spreadsheet at the moment! Would it work if I just put a serial number in it for instance?

I take it that Group_id is '4' for a normal newbie user account tooand ties up with tblgroup yur?

Thanks for the help in advance!
Rav

Sorry the database schema is not written down anywhere, apart from a few scraps of paper that probably ended up in the bin years ago.

The password field holds a 160bit encrypted password and the Salt field holds a unique value that is appended to the users password before being encrypted to make password hacking more difficult.

The starting group is set to whatever the forum admin sets the strating group to in the admin area.
