The Calender system is integrated into the forum permission system, so you can select what groups can enter Topics as an event.
Users will only be able to read Event Topics in forums they have permission to view. =====================================================
Can you explain this a lil more in depth. Do you mean that if an administrator post to the calender within a particular forum, other individuals outside of that forum will not see that posting on the calendar unless they have access to that particular forum in which the posting was made.
Also, is there a way to post recurring events onto the calendar. That functionality would be awsome.

Sorry but with 100's of posts to go through I don't have the time to go over old ground, but if you do a search on this forum I have explained the calendar system in detail.

After a little playing this is what i found,
Say i have a forum only accesible to senior members, If i post a calendar event in this forum then only senior members will be able to see this event while viewing the calendar.
If you want everyone to see a calendar event then you have to post it in a forum which everyone has access to.
