Borg,
 
I need to disable some accounts, but hate to wipe them out as the message that they placed will then say Guest.
 
Is there a way to disable the account so they will not show up in the calendar, membership list and users cannot send a private message to?
 
I am not sure if this would be an enhancement or I am just missing something.

If you edit the users profile when logged in as the admin you can select to ban the member.

This will mean that the user has the same rights are a Guest, and can not post,end PM's etc. but they will still show up in the members list.

I would assume that selecting suspend a user is also Banning?
 
What would be the best way to remove them off the user list and calendar if they are banned (or suspended)?

Suspended just means their account is not activated yet and so they can get around this.

Banning makes their account usless so banning is the one you want.

To remove the user from the members list you would need to delete the user.

To delete calendar entries they have made you would need to delete their topics or edit their topics and remove the event date.

I don't show Banned in there.  I will look through the other menus too.

Interesting, now that the code shows there,
 
Suspend User Yes< id=banned = value=True name=banned>  No< id=banned = value=False name=banned>
 
Suspend User is also Banned.
 
Now I got it (I hope  ;-)   )

Sorry now I remember I changed it to make it more easier to understand in the latest version.

So that suspend became 'User is Active'

And banned became 'Suspend User'
