Subject: Migration Tool Problem

I upgraded my access db from 6.34 to v7 and it went find, I resynced my posts, the only problem I seem to have is with "Active Topics" I says I never have any. Any suggestions?

You may need to set the LCID number for your server.

Edit the file active_topics.asp and change the LCID number to your servers locale and remove the ' from infront of the line.

I did do that borg, in common.asp and then I uncommented it in active_topics.asp, still no dice. I am Session.LCID = 1033. Its not Server.LCID is it?

You need to set the LCID number in the active_topics.asp file to that which should be for the server, so it should be different to that in the common.asp as you need to reset it back for that page to that of the servers locale in order for the page to correctly process the times for the active topics.

why would it be different if it is the same time zone or whatever? dont think im an idiot borg, just never had to deal with it in v6 of your forum.

Well this whole ordeal took place after I ran the migration tool from v6 to v7. So I re uploaded my old db with now members and its works fine. I wonder why.
