I only appear to have 23 pages on my Forum. I know from experience that there are more there !

Not really a problem, cos I keep the board very tidy by deleting old posts (to keep the DB size down) but I wondered why this is ? In the Forum settings, I have set it to display posts from 'Any date'

Cheers.

Edit: This is in Access and on RC1 & RC1.1

For performance reasons only the first 500 rows are returned in a query.

All posts are excessible by selecting dates or by clicking the row order at the top of the table.

Hi Borg. I have the same problem but I couldn't understand the above solution truly.

I see the topics in my MDB file beginning from the year 2003, but only topics from 2006 are displayed in the forum. I have also selected Any Date in Forum Admin section.

I use v8.01 Access.

This little problem affects my forum's indexing by robots, please help.

I now found what is meant with "row order at the top of the table", but the problem is, when I click on it, this time it shows post first 500 rows from the past beginning from 2003 to 2004. So I still lose posts between 2004-2005. Is there any solution dear Borg? My site's hit rates have enormously decreased due to this.
Thanks

All posts are still there and are still available.

You can click any of the headings to view the posts in different order.

If you click the Last Date column at the top and select any date you will see the first post ever posted in that forum at the top.

All posts are still available and can be reached through links.

If you want to know how to change the default settings, then do a search as this has been discussed a number of times and requires that you change just one number at the top of the froum_posts.asp file, where indicated.

Thanks Borg. I had made a search before asking this, and I made another search for the forum_posts.asp file you mentioned but I found nothing. At the end, I searched the whole forum pages for "500" and found that what you meant should be forum_topics.asp file  I changed this value and fixed the problem. This will do a great help.

Thanks.
