Ok, I reffered to this as an oddity because it happens very rarely but I have seen it myself so I know it does happen.  However this time when I had a user report it I was not able to reproduce it.  What always worries me about these kind of problems is that you can never be sure how often it is happening and not being reported.  I had seen mention of possibly the same problem in another posting on forgotten emails and was just wondering if anyone else was seeing this?

This is a bit like posting 'how long is a piece of string?'

You haven't said what the problem is with the forgotten password feature!!!

Yea, thats my bad, doing too many things at the same time.  The problem I was wanting to describe was simple one where a user clicks the forgotten password link and the password they receive in the email doesn't work.  And no matter how many times they go back and reset it it never does until the admin goes in and resets it.  I have actually seen this personally once myself and after resetting it as the admin I was able to reset it multiple times though the forgotten password link just fine.

I classify it as a minor issue at worst and I have used the Web Wiz forums for a number of years now and have always been pleased with the code and would recommend it to anyone over anything else I have seen.  Currently I am running version 7.9 and will probably upgrade to 7.97 during my upgrade window the later half of April.

In the future I will be sure to read what I have written before I post

I would look into this, but as version 8 is only weeks away from release I would suggest upgrading to version 8 to clear up the issue.

Version 7 will be dropped completely when version 8 is released and as there are free upgrades users will be asked to upgrade to the latest version.
