I don't know if I am missing something or what, but I cannot get WYSIWYG to work on forum 8 RC 1.1. I have tried to check the option to enable RTE in forum configuration and I even checked in database that this option was really selected (checked) and it was. But despite the fact this option is checked, the text editor in forums remains without WYSIWYG. It has just possibility to enter HTML tags in text area. eg [command] [/command]. I don't like that sort of text editor, because it is not so user friendly as wysiwyg.

I am wondering if anybody else had this problem and how did he manage to solve it. Do I have to change some settings manualy in some of .asp pages?

You may also need to enable the WYSIWYG Editor in your forums profile for the account you are using.

Also, the WYSIWYG Editor only works in browsers that have an RTE API, like Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, IE5.5+ (accept IE7 beta which has a bug that MS are fixing)
