I have set the permissions to allow adding calendar events, but how do I add the events to my calendar?

When you create a new Topic if you have permissions to create an advent you can select an event date.

Click the 'Help' icon at the top of your forum for help files on using the Calendar System.

OK so it has to be in the new topic not in an ongoing discussion like training announcemnets each announcment would be a new topic....

OK but when I do that no info shows on the calendar?

Make sure you are setting the calendar event for the correct date.

Also the calendar event will only display to those people with permissions to view that topic.
