As far as I can see the biggest problem with getting a forum online is getting it going. No one wants to join an empty forum.
How about having a database of messages that you can just plug in so it looks like the forum is more active than it actually is. I'm sure it would be popular.

I think it will look too canned. There are, however, a couple services on the internet that apparently will post on your forum for a fee.
I've never tried them, but I found an interesting article reviewing them: http://www.websitepublisher.net/article/pay-for-posts/ - http://www.websitepublisher.net/article/pay-for-posts/
Or you could ask a good friend to log on and chat with you on the forum. That's what I did to get mine started. At first it was just us, but them other people chimed in. If all else fails, you could create multiple user accounts for yourself and talk to yourself.

I did have a company send me some spam the other week asking if I wanted to pay to have them post in a forum to get it going.
I send them a reply, but instead, asking if they wanted to pay me to advertise in the web Wiz Forums software.
It maybe an idea to approach a few of these companies as I think it would be good business for them to advertise in Web Wiz Forums and something that some of them may pay big bucks to do, thus sponsoring the free version.
