Not sure if it is a bug or how you planned it but quoted text does not show as quoted text when you do a search.

If you are referring to displaying the search results as posts, then it is meant to be like that as only the first 200 characters are displayed without many of the images and formatting, if you want to see the full post you need to click on the link to the message.
