I recieve this error when I try to access the forum. I have tried different connections. The database is pointing to the right path. I set permissions on my web server. This is version 7, just downloaded today. Any ideas?

Check you don't have the database open in Access.

Check with your host that you have the correct permisisons on the database and the folder containing the database.

Try downloading the database, open it in Access and choose compact and repair from the tools menu, then re-upload the database again.

Thanks, it was permissions on the admin folder. I have my own server so it was an easy fix!

I've compacted and repaired the database and re-uploaded. My hosting claims that the permissions are correctly set. Anyway... I keep getting this error. Which permissions should be set? Are these settings only needed for the MDB or the folder as well?

Give the folder and the database read and write access.

I'm not the one who should read the f' manual. I've asked for those permissions for the database and folder already. But my hosting claims they are already set.
