Hello.
I have now read a bit about this wonderfull forum software. But before installing I would just like to know how this prog works with Master and content pages.
I am a newbee to ASP developement and am using VWD 2005 express edition.
Can I use my master page as is and sort of just plugin WebWizForum in a content page holder.

Thanks in advance for any information.

I can't say for sure, but I would have thought that it wouldn't work.

Master pages use ASP.NET 2, web wiz forums uses classic ASP, and in most cases the two are not compatible.

You cannot use Masterpages with asp as every content page has to have the Content Panel of the Master Page Parent. You could do it using iframe or something like that but whats the point.

The Master page and content page layout is a realy nice featur in VS 2005.

Does any one out ther know where I could get hold of something that sounds as good as Web Wiz Forums but runs on ASP.NET 2.0

Thanx in advance for any information.Tongue

You will be lucky.

ASP.NET 2 is a relatively new technology so most of the forums available for it as not advanced as ASP forums you can find.
