I wanted to release it while it was quite so the bank holiday weekend while everyone is on holiday seemed the best idea, so I don't get flooded with to many support requests.

Only problem is the entire Industrial Estate my office is on it like a ghost town as everyone is away till next Tuesday, I forgot I could do with a few days off as well.

Oh well, I don't think I had a single day where I haven't worked since last October trying to get this version 8 done.

... and we all appreciate it!
But now you have released this version it could be a while before you get a break. For your sake i hope the bug reports are at a minimum! LOL

I've been in the office 9 hours now getting the new version and site ready for this.

It's been a few hours since I released it and no problems so far with over 100 downloads and as everyone is on holiday the food van has not come today, so I'm going to call it a day, and see how things are going when I get in tomorrow.

Okay... I have to ask... what is a "food van" and how do I get one?

It's a guy who drives around the Industrial Estate around lunch time with a van full of hot and could food.

Not sure if you have them in the US, but over here in the UK almost all Industrial Estates have mobile food vans going round them, we get a Girl who comes at 9.30am, with one, then a guy who comes at 12.45pm.

We have those here too, though we don't call them food vans.  They are often referred to as "catering trucks" although most of them here in Houston, Texas are "taco trucks" and sell Mexican food.

We generally call anything under about 5 tons in the UK a van, over that it becomes a truck and the little food van this guy has would fit in the back of my 3 ton van twice.

Most the catering trucks here are quite large and cook your meal while you wait (tacos, quesadillas, etc.), and have a full kitchen (grill, sink, refrigerator, freezer, etc.).  All that wouldn't fit in a small van and is required by law in most counties.

Maybe we don't call them food vans here because they don't use vans, they use trucks instead.

I supposed cold food or specialized ones could use a smaller van (i.e. a hot dogs vendor), but typically the only mobile food vehicle you see here that uses a van is the ice cream man.  And that's what we call him: "the ice cream man." Big smile

And here, anything on a truck chassie is called a truck.  A van is called a van, however.  The smaller trucks are called "light trucks" and the really small ones (like the little toyota pickups) are called "toy trucks." Wink

By the way there is an egg hidden in web wiz forums version 8 with a picture of my dog, if anyone can find it.

I've noticed you haven't posted the release as a new topic or an event yet... presumably to prevent e-mail notifications going out. Smile  Sneaky, indeed. Wink

I had a feeling you were going to release it this weekend and not tell anybody. Big smile

Here's a better picture of him:-

He's a 2 your old Staffordshire Bull Terrier I got from an RSPCA rescue centre when he was 12 weeks old.

He tends to come everywhere with me as he it much of a handful for anyone else to put up with him.
