Hi -boRg-
i have installed aspsmartupload component on local mahicne to be used on the intranet forum. once i i have installed it, i test it separately and it worked just fine with uploading and downloading.
when i tried to use it with the forum, it throws the following error
The page cannot be displayed

| well, FAQ has no answer for this problem. aspsmartupload is working fine. forums 8.01 is working fine. but when i integrate the aspsmartupload with the forum and try to upload a file to the forum, it works fine in the prview but when i submit the whole topic with the upload it shows error 500 (btw, i have given write privielge to the uploads folder. |

The FAQ will tell you how to turn off "Friendly Error Messages" which will replace the http 500 error with a detailed error showing exactly where the problem is occurring. Post the detailed error. Http 500 error are to generic to do anything with.

Thanks, i have seen the exact error, trace it and fix it. it was permission error  |
