Subject: Banned email domains

I'm currently using WWF 7.97 and have 8.01 almost ready to use with my existing Access database.

However, I've just noticed that some users are registering using email domains that are not in my list of banned email domains then logging in and changing their email address to one that is!!

Is this something that has been addressed in 8.01?

Or can anyone tell me how to modify 8.01, before I go live with it, to prevent this from happening?

To prevent this type of thing use email activation.

Thanks for the reply -borg-

I already have email activation turned on, which prevents users from registering using blocked domains. However, if a user registers with a valid domain, then logs in, they can change their email address to a blocked domain, then re-activate their username with the blocked email address. They are now registered, and active, and have a blocked email domain in their profile!

This should not be the case.

I will do tests to see if I can replicate the issue
