Ditto the thanks. Works like a charm, a clean MSSQL install took about 5 minutes.
I hope a lot of people buy licenses. Thumbs Up

I have not installed it yet... I downloaded it on the 14th and then 8.01 came out on the 16th so I'm kinda biding my time.

But to your post sir Pyers... yes I will be buying my second developers version this year. It's worth every penny... pence... ounce... oh whatever.

Thanks for your great job. Did the database upgrade and it went smoothly, translated some language files to Croatian (hope someone will help me with the rest 'cause I am toooooo busy right now) and launched - no errors but RSS feed (will have to fix the encoding problem).
CONGRATULATIONS!

Quick question and I am sure its probably a simple answer..lol....

Can I upgrade the database and continue to use it with version 7 until I get 8 configured and cosmetically upgraded to my specifications?

Once you upgrade your database it will no-longer work with version 7.x, if you attempt to do so it will mess up the database.

The simplest solution is to make a second test copy of your database and use that to configure version 8.

You would need to check with EzASPsite about this as I'm not sure how EzSite works.

Just click the 'Forum Download' link in the left menu on this page.

You will find the version 8 download page, and if you scroll down the page you will also find the database upgrade tool.

Upgrade instructions can be found in the upgrade tool download file.
