All the birth dates for my members are one day behind and editing the profiles is not fixing the dates.

This is very odd.

What time and date off-set have you set for your forum?

As it maybe this that is coursing the problem. If you could let me know then maybe could replicate the problem.

I've got the time off set to - 3 in the admin area.

For example: My birthday is Jan. 16th and it is set to Jan 16th in my profile, it displays correctly in my profile when I view it, but when my profile is viewed my other members it shows Jan 15th.

I'm having the same problem. I have set the time off-set globally & personally but my birthday still shows one day behind.

This is from quite some time ago, and as it is no-longer in the 'to-do' list I'm sure that I must have fixed this issue.

Try running the latest version and see if that fixes this issue.

I do remember going through and re-writing the code to prevent this.

Could you please give exact details so this problem can be replicated.

Could you please give:-

Time off-set in admin area?
Your profiles time off-set?
Your birth date entered?
What part of the forum is the Birthday incorrectly displayed?

Time off-set in admin area: -6 hours

My profile's time off-set: +0 hours

My birthdate: Aug 28

It is displayed incorrectly when viewing my profile. It is displayed correctly, however, in the calendar. My time off-set in the admin area makes the forum time be Central Standard Time.

What part of the forum is the Birthday incorrectly displayed? In member profiles and in birthdates displayed in stats area.

Birthdate that is displayed is 01/16/62

If you go to line 421 of the file member_profile.asp and replace it with the following it will fix it for the birthday displayed date in the profile:-

Response.Write(stdDateFormat(dtmDateOfBirth, False))

However, I can not find where you mean by the stats area.

Its under the "Whats going on" area in "Today Birthdays".

I've not managed to replicate the problem under the Today's Birthdays section as it already includes code to factor in any server or user time off-set so it displays the correct birthdays for that day with the off-set.

Make sure you are using the default.asp file from the latest version.
