Love the WWF but it would be even more handy if the admin could choose users to set permissions on from a list view rather than searching/typing the user name everytime.

Try out http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=19399 - Venkis Ajax style suggestion mod just type the first two letters and a list will appear suggesting which users you could be looking for.
