I don't know if this makes a different or not but I am running the web board on a dotnet 2.0 server. I know the server crashed earyer today and was down for a few hours. Board was working ok after the crash but now is giving this error part of the time.

A ScriptEngine threw exception 'C0000005' in 'IActiveScriptParse::ParseScriptText()' from 'CActiveScriptEngine::AddScriptlet()'.

Web Wiz Forums uses ASP, so having .NET 2.0 installed on the server will make no difference to the running of Web Wiz Forums. (I even have the same config on my test machine)

The error you have is very odd, and the only thing I can think is that the ASP.DLL has become corrupted or some other issue with IIS.

The first thing I would do is reboot the server and see if that clears up the issue, if it doesn't try reinstalling IIS as this should reinstall the ASP.DLL

Yel its a brinkster account. They seem to have fixed the server, I also get another error but only at certain times of the day. I think brinkster is having some trouble with their servers.

I think you are right.

The error suggests that the mySQL server can not be connected to, this suggests either the server is down, or so overloaded it is rejecting the connection.
