I've been experiencing problems with anything to do with FSO (FileSystemObject) when trying to utalise this on Windows XP Prof's IIS.

Does anyone know anything about this? Is there a way around this or do I need to develop on a proper Windows Server?

I have also read that this might be caused by Norton AntiVirus' script blocking...

Hope someone can share some light on this...

Neil

1) In Windows XP you need to turn OFF 'Simple File Sharing'
2) Assign permissions to the directory in question to the IUSR_<MachineName> account, as this is the account that your ASP scripts are probably operating under.
3) Turn off Norton Script Blocking.

Cheers,
Andrew
