Yeah bloody hell i got on the central line yesterday for the first time in ages (had a puncture) and was shocked at the price! Even with me Oyster card!!!!

Yeah, living in the east end of London, i can't drive in cos of the congestion charge and to be honest who can afford £1.50 for a single bus journey? I found it impossible without an Oyster card and being that you can charge it up on the net it was ideal for me ------------- Handyman man? |

Transportation is Seoul is dirt cheap  ~! I can take a taxi to
work in the morning for just over £1.50 (actually £2). The subway
anywhere in Seoul is between $0.80 to about $1.40 or so, with most
destinations in the $0.80 to $1.10 range. Buses are similarly cheap. I remember spending 350 won on buses, which then was about $0.50 or so (now about $0.35). My local mini cab service has upped it's minimum price from £3 to £4.50 (thats any distance under 2 miles).... Don't even think about getting a Black Cab!!!! ------------- Handyman man? |
