Hey Gang -

Unfortunately we missed an upgrade or two over the years.  Not sure how we can tell which version we are currently running by I think it is 6.x

Is there any upgrade tool we can use to take it from 6 to 7 and then use the current upgrade tool for version 7 to 8?

Thanks for the help in advance.

BryGuy

I'm looking for the same thing.

Currently use 6.x and looking to upgrade to 8.x. Found the 7.x to 8.x upgrade utility but can't find the 6.x to 7.x upgrade utility.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Me too!   I've got version 6.27 and missed out on the upgrade to 7.  Now I can't upgrade to 8

The 6.x to 7.x database migration tool is still available at:-

http://download.webwiz.net/webwizforums/ww7migrator.zip - http://download.webwiz.net/webwizforums/ww7migrator.zip

I have also just added a 7.x blank database to the zip file so that you can use this tool to migrate your 6.x database to the 7.x database, once this is done you can use the 7.x to 8.x database upgrade tool from the download page. (hope this makes sense)

Thanks for the info. Is there a SQL migrator?

If not, would I be able to 'attach' the SQL tables to a MDB file to convert to the v7 mdb then upsize to SQL?

There isn't a migrator for SQL .

I wouldn't like to say if your method would work or not, but you could give it ago and see what happens, just backup your database first.

Yikes.

We are using the SQL version.

How do we upgrade in this case?

If you are using version 7.x then there is a version 7.x to 8.x upgrade tool for Access and SQL Server versions.

If you are using a 6.x version there was a upgrade tool written by a 3rd party about 3 or 4 years ago, but I wouldn't know were you could find this 3rd party tool now.
