Hi guys...

Sorry, I'm sure this is a simple thing, but I can't seem to figure it out.  I've just installed the software...  I'm running MSSQL Server 2000 with MDAC 2.6.  I keep getting this error when I try to browse to the forums:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while executing SQL query on database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_get_last_USR_+_count
File Name:- default.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server
Line 1: Incorrect syntax near '1'.

Any ideas?

Thanks -

----- Heath

Thanks for the reply!  Smile

Hmm...  I've tried re-uploading and no luck.  I downloaded the files again and tried again with a fresh set of files.  Same error... Ouch

Any other ideas?

This is very odd as no-one else seems to be having an issue with the SQL query that is throwing the error on SQL 2000, I even tested it myself countless times without issue.

The only thing I can think is that some strange setup on your SQL Server is coursing the problem, or a corruption of some kind in your MDAC Drivers.

Try first installing the latest MDAC Drivers on the server and see if that resolves the issue.
