GENCTASARIM Advanced Thanks Mod 1.2 with rep

here is the 1.2 version of my genctasarim advanced thanks mod. this time it contains rep point mod.

in new version corrected some errors and adding some new codes. now thanks mode working with rep mode. so users can give rep point to messages

new features about REPUTION:

-now every thanked messages give user 2 rep point.

-in forum_posts.asp page and my thanks page rep point shown under user avatar with graphic

-seperating each message tables

features:

-users can look their thanked messages from "my thanked messages" page

-every thank gives rep point to author of message

-list of all users who thanked the message shown at the bottom of each message (thanks bot)

-each user can send thanks to each message only one time (flood disabled)

-users cant send thanks their own messages.

-the mod finds the user information from database with thread_ID, so there isnt any way to send thanks to the wrong user

on "my thanks" page :

-users can see their rep point

-users can see; their thanked topic's link

- their thanked message's link

-who sent the thanks for their messages

-the date of sending thanks

you must open a new row named "Karizma" at the tblAuthor table:

Karizma integer (int) auto-veriable(0) NOT NULL

if you want to delete my site link in the pages; open popup_karizma.asp file and member_karizma.asp file with notepad and delete <%=Karizma> code at the bottom of the page...

i forgot saying karizma field should NOT NULL

the acces makes fields automatically NULL you must change it to NOT NULL and you must write default veriable (0)...

ALTER TABLE tblAuthor ADD karizma [int] NOT NULL DEFAULT (0)

each thanks means 2 rep points, if you wanna change this code open pop_up_karizma.asp file and find that code:

(her teşekk�r 2 puan demek, eğer bunu 1 yapmak istiyorsan pop_up_karizma.asp dosyasını a� ve aşağıdaki kodun olduğu satırı bul:)

rscommon("karizma") = rscommon("karizma") + 2

and change it to:

(ve ordaki 2 yi 1 yap)

rscommon("karizma") = rscommon("karizma") + 1

or what you want.

yes, no problem. as i see in the image folder there are images which should be shown by the increase of rep points, right? at what number of rep. points the images will start to show?

and sorry for the question abt the altering rep points u just answered that in the post above i did not reat it properly :)

sure you're right the images for increase. i made a percentage code that contains 1000 points so the graphic automatically increase as a progress bar when the points increased.

you can change the 1000 point to what you want from same place (pop_up_karizma.asp)

i've already said that; the karizma field must be NOT NULL and its default value must be 0.

daha �ncede s�ylediğim gibi karizma satırının �zelliklerinden sıfır uzunlukta olamazı se�men ve varsayılan değerini 0 (sıfır) olarak ataman gerekli... hata buradan kaynaklanıyor.

yalnız karizma satırının �zelliklerini dediğim gibi ayarlamadıysan yeni �yelerde aynı sorun ortaya �ıkacaktır. devamlı elle değiştiremezsin herhalde

dediğim ayarları yapamıyorsanız aşağıdaki kodu hata veren satırların bir �st satırına koyun:

if you can not configure karizma field as i said; you can add this code before the line that error occured...

tabiki varsayılan değeri 0 tam sayı olarak belirtmek gerekiyor. ama

you must follow install steps carefully. while opening a new field named karizma in tblAuthor you must select properties as NOT NULL and default Value= 0. if you dont select NOT NULL, the older users value gets NULL.

at tblAuthor table add a new field that named Karizma - integer - NOT NULL Default value = 0
create a new table that named tblKarizma
add those fields to new table:
Author_ID integer Null
Thread_ID - integer - Null
From_ID - integer - Null
Send_date - Date

NAVIGATION_BUTTONS_INC

open navigation_buttons_inc.asp file and add that code to line 76:

finally upload all asp files in the zip file to your forum. and upload all image files to forum_images folder.

that is all....

I am using MS ACCESS, this is how Karizma is configured:

Field Name Data Type

Karizma Number

Field Size = Long Integer

Default Value = 0

Everthing else is default.

this error means you did not set karizma field NOT NULL for solve that problem:

delete karizma row from tblAuthor and run that asp file:

Hi SKAP

The mod cannot be trusted as it has too many files that do not make sense, and from what I can see anyway, it would not work with some of the latest releases of web wiz forums
Since you are into security, you could try the mod yourself, but that is up to you

Perhaps if Bruce who has much more knowledge than me could pop on this thread, he could give you a far better answer
