I have been reading about how Fasterfox works and I understand that it 'prefetches' links, so that it has the page ready if the user clicks on it. I have seen many people complaining about their Bandwidth being wiped out by FF users.
Does FF work on Webwiz forums, so that we are losing bandwidth to everyone who uses it, and more importantly, if so, how can I stop FF from working on my Forums ?
Thanks

There is allot of software that works like this not just Fasterfox, which will follow all links from a page and cache all files for faster browsing, and it use to be very common back in the old dial-up internet access days.
However, with most people being on broadband these days this type of software isn't needed anymore, so few people will use it, so I can't see it being much of a problem.
Also, trying to prevent such software would be a very difficult task and more likely soothing done at web server level rather than at the client server app level, like web wiz forums.
