Hi,
I have a problem when i'll try to create a new forum into my web-site.

I have this problem.

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21'

Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.

/forum/admin_forum_details.asp, line 138

I create a new category... it's ok.
Later i'll try to create a new forum. I choose my category and i click "Submit Forum Details".
I receive this error message.
why ?
There is a solution ??

tnx a lot.

This is a database error, but as you have not mentioned what database version you are using it's hard to give advice.

I'm going to have to make a guess and say you are using Access, in which case this is often coursed by a corrupted database. Try downloading the Access version again and use a clean fresh database.

The error is a database error.

Make sure that your mySQL database is version 4.1 or higher and that you are using the myODBC driver 3.51

You may also have a corrupted file so try re-uploading the files again to the server.

No the software is not a beta, unless you have downloaded an old version.

The latest version is 8.02 and has no know issues, if there was I would know about it within hours with over 1,000 downloads per week.

The error you mention 'Variable Undefined strTxGuest' should not occur.

This variable is declared in the language files found in the language_file folder.

If you get this error it means that either a file has become corrupted during the upload process or you are using a 3rd party language files that is buggy.
