I have 6.34 working on my site and im tryign to upgrade it to the new version 7 but I'm having a little trouble with that. Also I'm doing a page for a client and he wants several seperate pages to be member's only and I know I have to add an include of the common.asp file to whichever files I want restricted but I dont really know how to do this so I was just hoping someone can actually help me with this without telling me something I allready know. Thanks for your help in advance.

The problem I'm having with upgrading to version 7 is that users no longer have an permissions and when I try to go into the admin menu I get this error -

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver]General error Unable to open registry key 'Temporary (volatile) Jet DSN for process 0x5f0 Thread 0x890 DBC 0x2216fec Jet'.

/forum/admin/common.asp, line 158

which I know is common with this script I just need someone to lemme know what to do.

Thanks MadDog - no wait not thanks - I've done that many times - all they say is something that I allready know - they tell me what to do but not how to do it. It doesn't help - thats why I posted this new post - to get an actual answer.  Im not trying to spam the msg board trust me. If I would have found an answer else where I woudnt have posted here. But seeing how this is a support forum I think there should actually be a little support. Thanks.
