Greetings, I have an issue with the new v8.02 forum. I was previously using the 7.x version, and used the upgrade soloution provided by this site (amazing work guys) When i login with a username (say UserA) i notice that the forums apear repeated (not all, but some forums). I've tried deleting the cache and it still comes up that way, and i've gone and changed the permisions, and other user based settings but the issue still remains. This will be a permissions issue, try going to the 'Forum Adminstration' page in the admin area, and click on each forum, check the permissions are correct and then hit the submit button. This will reset the permissions for each forum and should clear up the issue. ok, thanks for the feedback. i'll get back and have a look at my permissions. thanks again man Update: Ok I've removed / deleted the Individual permissions (a bit confusing, because I had to click on the garbage bin icon, and i was worried i might delete the whole forum line!) but after i did that, and re-applied the permissions on the group level, everything went back to normal thank you very much. keep up the good work |
