hello all

is it possable to get 5 different and random records from a database and put it in your page, and every time the page is viewed, you get 5 completely different records?

(doesnt matter if sum records are the same, long as it aint on at the same time)

Sure its possible...

In SQL Server SPROC anyways

I use something like that a site, it could be easily modified to pull 5 instead of one

hay umm thanks for this - i thought i would get emailed about this, but i didnt :S could have sumfin to do wit change from RC1 to Final ??

anyway thanks for the link - i have no idea wot it all means, but i'll try it

just a couple questions....

1) will it "write" the record its self... or do i have to put in where i want it?

2) :) could you give me an idea on how i could put 5 in?
if i have to put the record in my self... would a "Loop" work? for showin 5 records?
