Ok, this is odd. One of my members showed me this. I tried it and I was able to re-create it.

When you go to upload a pic, if you don't have the cursor inside the editor boundaries, this is the result.

That pic of the tow truck in the upper left hand corner never made it into the post. It exists on the server but doesn't display in the post itself UNLESS you make sure the curser is in the boundaries of the editor before you perform the upload.

This is a bug with IE's RTE API.

It doesn't effect all versions of IE but it does with some. IE had issues with this in early versions of IE 6, but it looks like it maybe back again with IE7 beta 2.

IE 7 beta 2 has lots of problems with it's RTE API, but they are slowly sorting them with each new build they are releasing.

Until MS sortout their rather buggy browser I'm afraid this is something you will have to live with or swap to better browsers like Firefox.

You know. I knew you were gonna tell me that. I have never been an ie fan, always used Mozilla or Firefox, but they also have their issues with webwiz.

In the end, I decided to go with IE7 because I really like the the way they set up the tabs. Since the Eolas patch, however, I have had several flash related issues and it's really starting to annoy me. (ps, I know the image uploading issue isn't flash related)

Just can't seem to win for losing.....
