Hi,

In IE, the rich text work perfectly.  But in Mozilla Firefox, they have javascript error the textArea has no properties and the text appears with html tag.

Do you have an idea of the problem?

thanks!

The RTE was primarily designed in Mozilla Firefox, so should work with no issues in that browser.

Try re-installing the RTE again to see if that clears up the problem.

Was anyone ever able to get this fixed? I am having the same problem - Mozilla is showing the "textarea has no properties" and therefore the buttons are all disabled and nothing works. Yet IE works great.

I am using Mozilla version 1.5.0.6

By "reinstalling" do you just mean deleting the files and re-FTPing them to the server? If so, I have tried that. If there is an actual "Installation" thing I need to do can you let me know what? Thanks!

Jenn

Is this issue on the original version or after you have made the integration.

If it is after you have made the integration try changing the names and ID tags of the form area to see if that fixes the issue.

Also, use the Javascript Console in the Tools menu of Firefox to see if there is a JavaScript error.

I found the error right after I posted (but since it wasn't live yet I couldn't edit it and tell you guys not to worry about it). With form elements I always use the name attribute but rarely use the ID attribute. That was the issue. Your code requires an id, not a name. As soon asI figured that out it worked great!

Thanks!
Jenn
