Ok, I received a new computer from work that had XP PRO instead of Windows 2000 Pro. I cant go back to the old system (unless I want to give up the new one, which I dont).

I have installed IIS 5.1. I can browse to http://localhost/anyhtml.htm - http://localhost/anyhtml.htm and it works fine. The problem I have is trying to access ASP files. Event dumb ones, that only have HTML code in them. In IE (with friendly errors turned off) I get this:

Server Application Error

The server has encountered an error while loading an application during the processing of your request. Please refer to the event log for more detail information. Please contact the server administrator for assistance.

Inside of my EventViewer, Security log, I get this:

The server failed to load application '/LM/W3SVC/1/Root/Test'. The error was 'No such interface supported

Any Sugestions? Any help would be appcriated. I have search all over microsofts site, and ahve found a couple people having this problem...but no fixes yet. I am pretty darn sure I have the Virutural Folder setup, and have enabled ASP script access.

I getting some trouble like this, you just need to Re-install Internet Information Server (IIS). EZ to do, try it and good luck!
